Griffin, 1769.  1st English edition. 459 pp. Wherein it is demonstrated that or most celebrated philosophers have, for the most part, take what they advance from the works of the ancients, and that many important truths in religion were known to the pagan sages. Written in French and translated by the author into English; this is the only edition. Binding copy; text complete and very good, but lacking covers.  "From the Author" written at the top of the title page.   $95.00
