A world-wide collection of folk songs, with the first volume covering the Americas, Africa, and Asia; the second covering Northern Europe; the third devoted to songs of Southern Europe. Each song is presented with the melody and a piano arrangement. The song texts are presented in their original languages, along with English versions by American poets. A clean and very good set, with little evidence of use, although with a 1" piece of tape and a very, very light stain on the front cover of the third volume. As nice a set as once could expect to find.
