Worcester, editor of the American Almanac.  A long letter in a small, neat hand, covering each page almost to the edges, giving information on the latitude and longitude of the college, and relating how the figures were obtained. The letter also comments on the death of Captain Angus, a participant in a sea battle between the Constellation and the Vengeance in 1800. 10" x 15" sheet folded to 7.5" x 10". One small hole in the paper, not affecting the text of the letter. Stampless cover with a fine Geneva postmark. Very good.
