Rideing, William Henry (1853-1918). Journalist, author; wrote several boy's adventure stories, and was on the staff of the New York Times and other newspapers. ALS, 2 pp., August 30, 1892, on stationery of The North American Review, to someone addressed as "General" suggesting an article - "Safeguards Against the Cholera." Hinged to another sheet (with the conclusion of the letter and signature on the verso), and with a biographical entry glued on the blank sheet. Very good.
